BEVERLY HILLS, California — Pro Team MMA, formally known as Top Team International LLC., a global mixed martial arts fight federation, has formalized a joint venture to design, produce and distribute for sale a line of MMA equipment under the name Pro Team MMA by TKO.

“The equipment has been designed by champions for champions, and the quality of the materials and craftsmanship employed in the production makes it the best available anywhere in the world,” says Ernesto Cespedes, Pro Team co-founder. “This philosophy so mirrors that of TKO with respect to all their products that we couldn’t be more pleased with the partnership.”

The new company will manufacture a complete line of merchandise for the fighter, the training camps and fight fans, including heavy bags, speed bags, MMA fight gloves, rash guards and apparel for men and women.

Initially, the products will be available directly through TKO, Pro Team's web site and in the federation member’s camps. An introduction into the general retail marketplace is anticipated for early 2009.
